Anger is a normal and a healthy emotion until it takes over our mind. It’s important to deal with your anger in a positive way because uncontrolled anger can harm your relationships and health too.
Recent studies have shown that anger reactions are pretty harmful to your physical health. People with no anger management have a weak immune system. Journal of the National Medical Association has stated that people with uncontrollable anger have 9% more likely to have a Heart Attack. Other studies have shown that anger is related to Coronary diseases and high blood pressure.
There are some simple steps to control your anger:-
1) Control your breath –
When angry, instead of freaking out and screaming, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Inhale the calmness and exhale anger. Instantly your blood pressure level will get normal and happy hormones will get release in your mind .
2) Muscle Reaction-
Unclench your fists, loosen up and let the muscles unwind. Open up your body to look confident this will let you to take better decisions and makes you strong to fight with your situations in a peaceful manner .
3) Get it out-
When you are relaxed, just sit and write down what made you angry. Also find the alternatives to for the situation, get out in some open park or garden ( close to the nature ) and try to relax your mind .
4) Seeking Context-
Think rationally instead of emotionally. Examine your anger and then you can displace from it.
