An interview is an art of representing yourself and selling your skill set to the company.
Generally, we learn the interview questions and answer from various sources such as websites or by joining the interview preparation classes but does that really help us there in real time when we are giving an interview.
Here are some tips that will be really helpful to you just read it once and apply it.
(WHILE GIVING AN INTERVIEW)
Open up your body:-
Don’t cross your legs, fold up your arms or lean on the chair this will make you look small and under confident.
Instead, open up your body and lean forward from your waist.
Appear Calm and relax:-
Don’t change your posture again and again
Don’t play with your figure ring or with your button.
Instead sit straight, Slow your breathing down and listen carefully to the question asked by the interviewer.
Use right-hand gesture:-
Use your right hand while explaining your points (but not too much)
- Palm upward signifies that what you are saying is honest and trust worthy
- Touching your heart signifies that what you are saying is genuine.
Make eye contact:-
Make eye contact with your interviewer but don’t stare, move your eye in every 3 seconds like the right eye, left eye and mouth.
Avoid Lying signals:-
In an interview, there can be many points of time when you have to lie so to avoid lie signal
- Avoid touching your face especially nose, mouth, ears, and eyebrows.
Give the perfect handshake:-
A handshake is something that will represent you without being verbally communicating.
Too firm and you will appear dominant
Too weak, you will appear you are under confident.
- Initiate the handshake
- Match the interviewer’s grip
- Apply the two-second rule
- Repeat their name
